A shared lunch after the 10 am Sung Eucharist, with harvest gifts collected for the Hawthorn Vale Food Pantry. Bring a plate if you can; everyone is welcome.

Forty minutes of Bach and Howells on the parish organ. Bring your lunch; tea and coffee are served afterwards. Free, with a retiring collection for the organ fund.

Cake stall, plant stall, second-hand books, a tombola and afternoon tea. Proceeds go to the bell tower restoration.

Evensong sung by the parish choir, remembering the saints known and unknown. Candles may be lit for loved ones after the service.

Readings and carols by candlelight for the beginning of Advent, followed by refreshments in the hall.

A day of silence, short readings and prayer to begin Advent, led by the Vicar. Come for an hour or stay all day; soup is served at one.

A short, noisy service for families, with carols and the Christmas story told around the crib. Children are invited to come dressed as shepherds, angels or sheep.
