A light, generous room beneath a timber roof, with a full kitchen and a garden. Used every week by the community, and available for your gathering.

What you can hire
The main hall
Seats 120 at long tables or 160 standing. Stage, piano, projector and screen, and a sprung wooden floor for dancing.
The meeting room
A quiet room for up to 20, ideal for meetings, classes and small gatherings. Tea and coffee facilities.
The kitchen
A commercial kitchen with ovens, a dishwasher, and crockery and glassware for 150.
The garden
A walled garden with lawn and benches, available with the main hall in the warmer months.

Hire rates
Community groups and registered charities receive a reduced rate. All prices include heating, lighting and cleaning.

Minimum two hours. Community rate $30 an hour.

Good to know
Conditions of hire
Is there a deposit?
Yes. A refundable deposit of $200 secures your booking and is returned within a week of your event if the hall is left as you found it.
Can we serve alcohol?
Yes, with a responsible adult in charge of service. Licensed events may need a permit from the council.
What time must we finish?
Music must stop by 10:30 pm and the hall must be clear by 11 pm, out of respect for our neighbours.
Do you have public liability insurance?
The parish is insured for the building. Hirers running regular classes or commercial events should hold their own public liability cover.
